Elementary age children love programs that combine independence along with a sense of security. They are exploring the world around them and returning home proud of their new accomplishments. They enjoy fairy tales and fantasies, family musicals, inspirational stories and non-fiction. Kids this age may think they're more sophiscated than they are. Keep in mind that they still enjoy cuddling up with their parent and watching together.
